Milne Antigues & Design | Kingston, NY

Milne has a wonderful collection of traditional, modern, and industrial furniture selections that are truly unique and one of a kind. One of my favorite design styles is blending modern pieces with vintage and they do this exceptionally well. The owner Rebekah has a fantastic eye for design, and the staff is very friendly. They also sell art, pottery, textiles, lighting, garden furniture and decor, turkish rugs and beautiful linens. I have a few special pieces for my home that I have bought there, an antique cobbler’s table and a rustic plant cart on wheels (see images above).

UnQuiet Upstate | Coxsackie, NY

I stumbled upon this gem as I was walking with a friend in the adorable historic downtown area of Coxsackie, the moment I walked in I was completely enchanted. Located in an old firehouse on the Coxsackie waterfront, this shop has such a delightful collection of curiosities. With a mix of old and new, you will forget time as you explore the two floors of well curated eclectic finds. In the back of the shop, there is a super cute bar called Ravish Liquors. As they say on their IG bio, antiques in the front, party in the back. Yes please.

Tyler & Todd Home | Newburgh, NY

I’m very excited about the new Tyler & Todd Home shop in Newburgh, it has an amazing collection of vintage and new home goods. Walking through the furniture store felt like a journey through design history. As I wandered past sleek sofas and mid-century coffee tables, iconic pieces by Corbusier, Eames, and Hans Wegner caught my eye.

I had a lovely conversation with Fariba Todd the co-owner of Tyler & Todd. She told me about the local artists whose pieces bring a unique and vibrant touch to the space. It was inspiring to hear about their commitment to supporting and showcasing the talent within the community.

As a customer and a designer, I’m thrilled that not only do they refurbish and reupholster pieces, but they also make custom furniture. There are so many wonderful gems in this store and so much fun to explore.
