How to make your Bedroom feel like your favorite boutique hotel room

Are you ready for a bedroom overhaul? Tired of the clutter? Ready to pitch the lamps you got at the flea market? or the bedside tables you got from Aunt Betty when she bought the farm? Do you want to sleep in a bedroom that looks like you just stepped into a fabulous boutique hotel? I know I do, I have bedroom’s on my mind because I am looking to do some updates myself which I will share in a future post.

Remember how you felt the last time you stayed in a really well designed hotel room? Everything had it’s place and purpose, it was clean and uncluttered, you felt so relaxed you didn’t want to leave. As I am designing a custom headboard for a client right now, I thought I would share some inspirational images I collected. What about a custom headboard? It can really elevate the elegance of your bedroom.

The wall to wall fabric wrapped panels create softness. Don’t be afraid of a light color, there are so many commercial grade stain resistant fabric to choose from these days. The headboard mounted lights free up the side tables for more space. If you have the ceiling height, a pendant above the bed adds that extra layer of decorative lighting that takes it to the next level.
