10 Charming Breakfast Nook’s

It’s the best seat in the house right? Whenever I’m in a restaurant I always choose the banquette, don’t you? It feels good to have your back to something solid and your view to all the action. While researching built-in seating for a client project I am working on, I came across some pretty sweet inspiration images I wanted to share on the blog. There’s something really charming and inviting about a cozy little breakfast nook, not to mention it saves on space which is a plus, especially when it comes to small size city apartment living.

I love this sweet little kitchen nook in this Berlin flat designed by the firm The White Arrow. They detailed the seat cushion and the radiator under the window in a very clean way.

The Saarinen oval table is a perfect fit for this beautiful beachy built in seating nook by Chango and Co. The nautical pendant and combination of earth tone and blue fabrics pick up on the natural environment beyond. the beadboard detail on the base is picked up throughout the space. well done.

Designed by the Australia firm Decus Interiors, this bench is beautifully detailed, the warm accent wood color and blush cushion make it feel so inviting.

Don’t you just want to have your coffee every morning right here? Designed by Lang Architecture, this sunny kitchen nook really comes together with the blue bench cushion, shelving detail on the side, the colorful art on the wall and the natural wood accent furniture.

This soothing and minimal built in kitchen nook is design by the french designer Joseph Dirand. I don’t really know what to say other than I’m a bit obsessed and love everything he does.
